Tulips

I'm really sick of snow and was delighted when another member of my painting group brought in some red tulips. That inspired me. This is all done with liquid watercolors which create wonderful, bright colors. First I scattered some masking fluid over my paper, hence the white spots. Snow?

Here's also a photo of our snow.

I agree with Carl, this is soooo fresh! I know you are living in the moment of snow and more snow, but I feel your pain (even though I am in the dry Southwest) and hope that this will soon be all over for you. Of course, that will mean our horribly HOT weather will be descending, but we all have those months where we wish we could be elsewhere!

I love your treatment of the flowers; but, most of all that vase that is barely there, just a suggestion!
