After waaaaay too long not painting anything I like at all, I was inspired today to do a couple of collages. They were both started with a multi-colored wash on watercolor paper, then continued with pieces of a failed painting. I'm not sure either one is finished but each one is close.

Jane, the top one looks like birdhouses - but the birds are all in the second one! I like both of these and think with just a bit of tweaking, you'll have two complete and good collages. The second is my favorite - that intense center shape is interesting and works well.
