Those lovely patches of blue do it for me in both paintings! I do love the richness of the pastel version, though. These are both so well done that either would be a welcome addition to anyone's collections, I hope the right person comes along to see that!
These are both beautiful paintings, Jane. I like the pastel because you can see texture in the stroks.I like the w/c because it looks so seamless and pure. In both versions you really captured the essence of evening light so very well.
